more goodbyes

The kids and I picked Dev up from the airport. He was in Brazil for a week starting work and getting things ready for us to arrive. He is so excited for us to get there. He visited our ward and figured out where we are living a long with purchasing some items for our house.

 We were all so excited to pick him up...we are not use to not seeing him for long periods of time.

 My EVERTHING. I am so blessed to have this sweet little family.

It was fun for the kids to see the process so they know what to expect in a week. The kids tell everyone they meet about us moving to Brazil. It is funny to observe reactions. Who believes a 3 or 5 year old when they tell them something? I think we can learn a whole lot from children. They are so honest and will spill their soles if we just listen. Some people just blew them off and didn't say anything back to them and others said, really? Tell me about it...and Connor or Presli would talk as long as the adult would...or as long as we had time. I think our post deliverer, checkers, strangers on the street know more about us in the last two weeks than most people do.

We were able to meet up with Jess and kids, Nat and Scott for lunch. It was good to see them to catch up a little before we leave.

 Dan had to work so we stopped by to visit him for a little bit.

 We haven't seen Grandma Harris for a while and were so excited to visit with her for a little bit.

 It was a fun surprise to see Aunt Susan and Tyler there as well! Always great catching up with them. So very kind!

 The kids of course kept themselves busy....and a little crazy!
