The kids are really going to miss this cat. I have to admit I will too. He was so good with the kids. He let Daws grab and play with him. It was so cute, Daws just growls at him and tries to pick him up by the hair.
I have posted about Presli and this cat, but she really does baby him. She buckles him in the stroller and pushes him around...along with carrying him just like a baby. He is a trooper to say the least. I love it though because he is so good with the kids. He LETS them play with him.
Friends were in and out all week...we sure are going to miss our American Falls/Pocatello Friends....they have been just like family to us.
We finally got all our belongings we are leaving in the United States. We loaded it all in an enclosed trailer and storing it for the years we are away. Last time driving the Camry as well.
We were grateful for mom's help in finding a great storage place. Another tender mercy.
Dev was checking the trailer before he locked it up for good and guess who he found...our cat. He didn't want us to leave without him, I guess. He got to ride in the cab all the way home. Presli couldn't have been happier. Good quality time spent with her kitty before she had to leave him.
Here is the landscaping at our house Dev and I did before we left. It was good therapy time. We just got grass planted and hope it looks great in a couple of weeks!Daws sprawled out in the dirt. ALLLLL boy.
I went and picked up a rental to fit all our stuff plus five people. It was a joke really. We thought we could just rent a vehicle at the Pocatello airport and drop it off in Salt Lake. We could but it was $1200. Dev got it figured out for a fraction of the price....I rode the salt lake express and then drove it back home for less than $300. Thank goodness he looked into it so we had enough time to go and pick it up. Another tender mercy.
Eating out this little girl cracks me up! She said it tastes like "diet coke" it was rootbeer and water. HA!
FINALLY we had everything cleaning and stored...now onto packing! This was our last night in the house. Good times!
