It was time to pick up our visas in the United States. So, we hoped on a plane...flew 12 or so hours and arrived in LA. We were all so excited to be in the US. The kids could hardly contain their excitement to talk to people. Connor struck up a conversation with almost anyone that would listen to him. The first few days Devin and I would catch each other trying to communicate to others in Portuguese. ha! We went to our appointments and waited for the processing time to pick them up and head back to Brazil.
While we waited we had to see what LA area had to offer....
While we were in The United States it was convenient on my Birthday. I turned 30 this year. Kind of a big birthday. I feel like its all down hill from 30, so mentally it sucks. I guess we spent it right....in the most youthful place we could have been....Disneyland. It was so fun watching the kids experience it for the first time.
We were also in the US for Halloween. The kids were so excited to get costumes. Connor wears his every single day. I really like letting the kids pick out their costumes. This picture is our kids to a T.
We went to a nearby neighborhood and let the kids do a little old fashion trick-or-treating. It was a highlight for sure!
