From the airport, Vigzul picked us up in an awesome, COMFORTABLE bus. We all took a few naps on our way to Campinas.
Connor walked right on the bus, chose his seat, reclined and pushed out his foot rest without being told what to do. Little smarty pants! He was so happy to have his own space after that long plane ride.
As we were driving we saw a lot of this housing. Stacks upon stacks, covering the hillside and hilltops.
Daws crashed for the whole ride.
We stopped at a little gas station type convenient store. It had clothing, buffet, snacks, chocolate etc. The parking lot was cobble stone. Presli went in with Dev and it began...lots of comments on how cute the kids are. Mostly Pres because she is blonde/blue eyed. "Nossa, que lindinha loira" saying "Oh my gosh, what a beautiful little blonde girl!" The ladies saying it would place their hands on their cheeks or cover their mouth. I hope I can capture it in picture some time.
We stopped at Bryce and Keisha's house first. Beautiful place! We left most of our stuff there because our house isn't quite ready yet. We will be staying in a hotel for a couple days. It has been great because it has AC and internet so I can get up to date on my blog! You wouldn't be hearing from me this soon if I wasn't here. Still LOTS to do before we are settled. It has been good to hang out and take a nice break before we start unpacking.
Yummy food that Vigzul had ready for us...Dev topped it all off with beautiful flowers waiting for me. Too bad I don't have a beautiful vase to put them in. Love this man of mine!
We will be here for a few more days. We went to our house and checked everything out. I am excited to get settled and show you all our view. It is gorgeous!
