Grandma's Visit

The kids were counting down the days they got to see grandma. They did not want to leave her side. We had a great 10 days together....and that is why I am not posting until now. We were savoring our time that we got to spend with her.

Of course she brought our American goodies/sanity to us. It was like Christmas. From the panties to fruit snacks the kids were in heaven!

I have posted ALL of our photos on this post....so BEWARE it is extremely lengthy but full of fun memories that we will cherish.

Keisha threw Kylee Frozen Party. It was a hit. All the kids had a blast!

She got to explore a Brazilian style Flores market. One of our favorites.

Saturday was a full day we watched Connor play soccer....and we can't forget his cute little cheerleader. Pres is so shy, but when it comes to her pom poms there is "sem vergonha" which means "without shame"
We went to a cute little zoo with Bryce and Keisha's Family...

 ...and hit this adorable park.
and HAD to stop and get our favorite Sergel Icecream. It was a fullllll day.

A sunday afternoon BBQ-ing, reading books, playing cards, oh and of course...doing Grandma's hair!

 Campinas Temple...
One of the churrascos we visited: a MUST in Brazil.

 Shopping for "go home treats"
Drinking Limao Caldo de Cana and Eating Frango Pastel...

We were so sad to send her on her way....I felt like the mom sending her child off somewhere. I worried until I got a call once she arrived in the US. COME BACK SOON!!!! We welcome any visitors....we will make room for you!

Tchau! I am off to bed and ready to tackle the week....trying to get back into routine...seesh you would think I went on vacation. My house thinks I did.
