randomness...

I figure I will have quite a few of these random posts of discoveries or experiences. Let me know if you have any requests of what something is like...I have had a few.

Here are our light bulbs. I have seen a few normal bulbs in the stores, but not many.
Here is the vehicle we drive. Very normal. Most of the vehicles here are really small. The only trucks I have seen are large work trucks, people don't drive them as their vehicle.
We were driving and this bus pulled up along side of us. The people on the bus were singing and playing drums....just having a good time. Dev unrolled the windows so we could hear them. He said it was a bunch of fans on their way to the local stadium to watch their team play. I just about took a picture of them. I refrained. I kinda wish I would have so you could see what we saw.
A store here it reads "good good" Bom means good. Dev and I get a kick out it.
I am sure you would imagine the fresh fruit stands on the side of the roads, they are all over.
Just set up a little different at each one. We really wanted to find a sugar cane juice stand. Dev would get it all the time on his mission. Soon enough.
One last stand I took a picture of. There was one that I WISH so badly I had a picture of. I couldn't get my camera out fast enough. A guy had fallen asleep in a wheel barrel. His body was a wet noodle drooped in the barrel. It was a classic photo.
When I originally took this picture I could not see a person. It was moving and I knew there was a person somewhere. We haven't really seen a lot of people pushing carts full of stuff, but we are also in a smaller city. This was in a larger city.
Driving by this lady was throwing garbage out into a truck. ha.
 Trying to make money.
 A random circus.
Our apartment buildings. We are on the far left fifth from the top.
Some teeny tiny ducks. Still furry-looking, so cute!
This is right out in front of our place.
The kids get to see this turtle all the time. He roams the playground at their school. He is friendly.

  1. Wow- those were some fun photos to see. Thanks for posting them. So what does your Church house look like? Is it similar to the one that you posted that Devin attended on his mission?
