Connor has been craving spaghetti. We don't have stove so we haven't been able to make some. We found an awesome Italian restaurant with real noodles and Connor was in heaven! Daws couldn't get enough of the fruit juice as well.
We finally have the keys to the apartment just cleaning it out and getting ready to move in. The kids entertaining themselves at the hotel.
Daws was watching the raindrops on the window it was so cute!
The kids experiencing their first Brazilian rain storm.
Going for a walk. Look how cool the sidewalks are.
They have a little washing station inside a subway. Presli washed her hands forever.
The pizza just isn't the same as the US. Dev requested my fav. He said they thought he was crazy asking for pineapple on his pizza. It was actually one of the best Hawaiian pizzas I've ever had. They cook it over fire and the pineapple was fresh. It was sooo good. In fact, writing about it makes me want to get some tonight.
Dev brought us home a Brazilian treat last night called sonho. You buy them at bakeries and they are cooked fresh. The bread is so soft and the cream in the middle is delish.

all fun stuff to see ...thanks for posting! :)

DeleteLooks like you guys are settling in well! The food differences and lack of something familiar can be very hard, but with time you either will find what you need or settle for a better alternative;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex! It is good to hear from someone who has already experienced international living!! Any other tips??
