5 in Brazil: Happy Easter

I can't wait for my Mac to get here so I can crop these pictures better, but for now oh well. This first picture is of all the chocolate easter eggs that are sold in almost every store. It is a big over head tunnel that is made in the store so you can go through and pick the design you want. I thought it was pretty cool! I haven't seen much as far as baskets and plastic eggs go. A girl in our ward said bunny prints are made that lead the kids to their egg and some other chocolate candy. Quite different from the US. I really like this tradition...I think it is a keeper.

Daws had fun with the egg hunt. It's his first real egg hunt. I am glad I bought eggs at the last min before we left. It was fun to combine traditions.

haha Connor cracks me up...his personality is so fun. He was acting out all his eggs. This one was one of the Iron Man eggs he found.

I really enjoyed the simple Easter we had. It was nice to celebrate Saturday so Sunday we can focus on the real meaning of Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This was the first year Connor really seemed interested in WHY we celebrate Easter. I love his little spongy brain!
