grocery shopping

Now that we have a fridge we can officially grocery shop. Daws doesn't like the cart so much, he likes to run around. It is easier to keep an eye and contain him in the cart even if half of our groceries get smashed.

 A view of the fresh produce area. Every store is different, this is the one we decided to go to.

 This one is blurry but if you look close you can see the people in the yellow shirts. At this store you gather all your produce and take it to this station and they mark and weigh it right there so the check-out process is faster/easier. Dev and I thought it was such a great idea.

 Some stores have grocery bags and some don't. This particular store did not. So we pile it all into the car...and our housing has this cart to get all your groceries up to your apt in one trip. It rocks! The second pic is of our full fridge. I mainly wanted to point out how milk is packaged. They have milk in boxes, bags, or plastic bottles. They come in 1 liter containers so we are buying a lot of milk! Juice also comes in boxes...but I think juice comes in boxes in the states as well. I am sure I will be posting more pictures of differences in food here. It is a fun find. They eat rice and beans with every meal here.
